Next 5 years will offer good opportunities for Indian sanitaryware factories to export their products in Saudi Arabia. There are good figures coming up from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing – KSA. The ministry has projected to build more than half million houses and to do this it has increased the budget to $11.0 Billion, this figure makes us “feel good” while we look at the opportunities ahead.

If you want to travel to Saudi Arabia for potential business opportunities of sanitaryware please visit western and central parts of it (Medina, Mecca and Riyadh). This is densely populated as well as highly developing region.

Since years KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) is lucrative market for Morbi based tiles factories. It is important to know that more than 75% of the sanitary ware products demand in Saudi Arabia is being fulfilled by imports. Some major brands dominating the local market there are… American Standard, Saudi Ceramics, RAK Ceramics etc. From India the leading exporters of Sanitaryware to KSA are CERA, Somany and Kajaria. Increasing number of individuals in high income group fuels the demand of higher end luxury sanitarywares in Saudi Arabia.

Hence we urge the SME around Morbi and Thangadh to tap this span of opportunity (2013 to 2018) and make Saudi market specific strategies to increase export sales.
